Chevron – Geismar Expansion and Improvements Project

Performance Contractors, Inc. was contracted by Chevron REG for the construction of the Geismar Expansion and Improvement Project at their facility in Geismar, Louisiana. The expansion increases renewable diesel production by 250 million gallons per year, bringing Chevron REG’s total annual renewable diesel capacity to 340 million gallons.

Initially, Performance Contractors was awarded the mechanical scope of work. However, as the project progressed and Chevron REG recognized the strength of the partnership, Performance Contractors was subsequently awarded additional scopes, including the ISBL civil work, piping insulation, and electric heat tracing. In addition, Performance Contractors was selected to execute the full general contractor scope for the Wastewater Treatment Unit, a critical component of the Geismar Expansion and Improvement Project.
