Safety From the Start

Keeping Safety at the Heart of What We Do

At Performance Contractors, safety is more than a standard we follow on the job. It is a responsibility we carry into every part of our work, and one we are proud to reinforce with the next generation. That's why we created the Safety from the Start competition: to celebrate how safety thinking starts early, at home, in school, and in everyday moments. By inviting our team members' children to share their artwork, we're reminded that a true safety culture isn't built in a single moment. It's built through consistent values, passed down, reinforced, and lived every day.

Each year, our drawing competition invites the children of Performance team members to show us what safety means to them. Through their artwork, they give us a simple reminder of why we put safety first every day: because looking out for one another matters and so does going home safely to the ones we love.

Congratulations to this year’s Safety From the Start winners, and thank you to every young artist who helped us celebrate what it means to put safety first.

We're already looking forward to next year's competition. If you're part of the Performance family, start thinking about those safety moments your children see every day. We can’t wait to see what they create.
